Anyone who is interested in the legal implications of BDSM in Australia should read "The Right to Sexual Privacy, Sado-masochism and the Human Rights (Sexual Conduct) Act 1994 (Cth)" by Simon Bronitt [*].

This article was originally published by the Australian Journal of Human Rights, and although it dates from 1995 AD, it is a peer reviewed journal article and it is of high quality.
